Brother Knight Tucker (Tom) & Mandy Diroff’s three-month old grandson, Elliott Belair, has been diagnosed with a very rare brain cancer.  He had surgery at four weeks old with 90% of the tumor being removed.  He is now undergoing chemotherapy, for approximately a year or longer.  This will be a very long and tumultuous fight for Elliott and his parents and while they do have insurance, there will be considerable costs incurred.

We will be holding a fundraiser for Tucker & Mandy’s daughter Natalie, son-in-law Adam and most importantly, baby Elliott on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 6pm in the Member Lounge and the Fr Saylor Room (Basement Hall).  The fundraiser will be a basket raffle, 50/50 raffle and a Euchre tournament.  We are asking for volunteers to donate baskets and the raffle will be held on Saturday, December 4^th in the Member Lounge.  Entry cost for the Euchre tournament will be $25 per person with 80% of the proceeds going to the family and 20% to prize money.  There will be a sign-up sheet for Euchre in the Member Lounge.  If you would like to donate a basket or would like to help out with the event, please contact Vanessa Danilowicz at 313-574-6201, Joe Martinez at 313-808-0780, or Joe Carnarvon 313-819-5879.  Click on this link for more information. https://kofc3774.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/124/2021/10/Flyer-for-Elliott.pdf
