Firekeepers Casino Day Trip Is Back!

A lot has changed since the last time we were together for our casino trip to Firekeepers. The COVID-19 pandemic that shutdown our country also shutdown our trips. Well our trip has returned
and we can’t wait to see all of you again.

On Saturday, October 16, 2021 will be holding our fall casino trip back to Firekeepers. Currently, the casino is accepting only one bus at a time each half hour. What that means is one bus will leave at 10:00 am and the other bus will depart at 10:30 am. This may change before October 16, but we must adhere to the casino’s protocols.

This trip as in the past will benefit Fr. Saylor’s MI Program, which contributes to our donations to those who need our help the
most. Again, the buses will depart for Firekeepers at 10:00 am and 10:30 am on the 16th and return between 6:00 and 7:00 pm.

We will be spending approximately 5 hours at the casino before departing for our return trip home.  The casino will provide all players with $20.00 in free play and $5.00 to be used for dining or in the gift shop. If you do not have a Player’s Card the casino at the time of check-in will provide one for you.

There will be 50/50’s on the bus on the way to the casino and on the way back from the casino. As in the past there will be pizza and salad when we arrive back at the Council.  So for $40.00 per person you are receiving $25.00 per person from Firekeepers. That makes your total cost for the trip a mere  $15.00.

This trip is limited to 108 people. The sign-up sheets are at the Member’s Lounge and we ask that payment be made at the time of sign up so that we can have an accurate count at least one week prior to our trip.

All checks shall be made out to Father Saylor Knights of Columbus and on the memo line Firekeepers Casino.  As for upcoming trips in 2022 the committee will look at what days will work best and will make sure everyone is made aware of  those dates.
